Grinding

Nifty-Bar, Inc. specializes in Blanchard grinding applications. Our array of Blanchard grinding equipment can process materials up to 110" on the diagonal. Heights up to 34" can be accommodated on our grinding equipment.

Blanchard Technology

With Blanchard grinding technology, parts are mounted to a rotating chuck and processed by counterrotating grinding wheel segments. This produces a characteristic spiral pattern surface finish that is suitable for a wide variety of precision applications.

Dimensional Control

Blanchard grinding removes material from one side of the part at a time providing fast material removal and precise dimensional control of overall size and part feature relationships.
