Nifty-Bar, Inc. provides component parts in prototype through production quantities.  Our unique combination of available technologies makes it possible to provide the most economical process to meet the  requirements of your project.

Waterjet Technology

Abrasive waterjet machining uses a very high pressure stream of water and garnet particles to cut through materials without heat. This technology offers many benefits in comparison to alternative technologies such as flame cutting, plasma cutting, laser cutting, or conventional machining. For producing component parts, these benefits include:

Capability to make a single part or
    thousands of parts as needed

Reduced material costs through
    narrow kerfs and part nesting

No thermal distortion or hardening

Minimum part stress

Elimination of tooling and fixtures

Smooth finished edges

Ability to cut hardened materials

Ability to cut highly reflective
    materials

Reduction or elimination of
    secondary operations

Environmentally friendly process

Capability to self pierce start holes

Alternative Cutting Technologies

Nifty-Bar, Inc. also provides flame, plasma, and saw cutting and duplex milling services that can be combined with our waterjet cutting services to achieve the most economical results for your project.  Please visit our Material Cutting page for more details. We also can arrange for laser cutting or CNC punch press operations when required for your projects.
